Appearance:Fulkrim is a massive dragon by anyone's standards. At only 100 years, his length is 100 feet and his height is over 25 feet at the shoulder. The wings are bat-like, ebony in color, the bones glinting golden in the sun or moonlight. His wingspan is easily 100 feet and ranging closer to the 200 foot mark.
It is well-known knowledge that despite having a base appearance, some dragons' scale-color changes to suit their volatile moods. Falkrim would be one of those dragons. His base color is ebony, as lightless as the deepest corners of space. Multi-colored flecks appear at the edge of his scales, turning the tips to silver and gold. His armored belly is golden, flecked with black specks.
Above slit-pupiled opticals rise two golden horns. They are long, straight, and incredibly sharp--one of the many unknown weapons a dragon can have. His jaw is long and sharp-nosed, more reptilian than mammal and more predatory than herbivore. His teeth are golden, the insides and the back charred black from the flames that lick at the dragon's jaws.
His eyes are golden as well, though more molten than anything else. The glow at night, reflecting whatever light is found by them. Slitted pupils mark him as a predator--if the teeth didn't give you a clue.
A ridge of small golden spikes begin at his brow bone and slowly become larger and sharper, traveling the whole distance down Falkrim's spine--in between the massive wings and down to the tail. His tail ends with barbs so sharp they can kill with a single slash. The tail is long, about three quarters the length of his body.
The claws on his paws are as easily predatory as anything else on him. Though mainly used to kill animals to feast upon, the claws make a great weapon. Curved like scimitars, they are pure gold...literally. It is that feature that once made the royal line hunted. Their claws, horns, teeth, and even spinal ridge were precious because they were the exact metal that they appeared to be.
