Fire's Meadow
The blackened soot from a long ago wildfire still lies sunken under the dirt, exposed by even the slightest digging. The meadow has a large stand of trees, mainly of pine and evergreen saplings, but these are dulled by the occaasional dogwood or tulip tree. The ground is open, with the grass short and kept by deer and other grazers.
Deer, elk, and moose often traverse through here, as well as voles, rabbits, and chaffinch.
