This is a magical creature role-playing site, located in some far-off land who's name I haven't decided yet. All sorts of creatures are allowed, as long as they follow the rules, so make sure to check those out. The rules will be more strict here than other sites, so make sure that you don't flout them! Have fun!
This will be an advanced/intermediate, and literate site. As well, we're trying to make this as realistic as possible, even with magical creatures and whatnot. This site is targeting more mature role-players, although we do welcome younger beginners.
Announcements
We now have a plot set up, involving all four Tierras. There's blood and gore for all of you who enjoy it, and also a romance for the quieter souls. xD
Weather
There will be weather as soon as I choose to have weather. xD
Carved in Stone This is where most of the rules and storylines can be found. You must read through all of them before you create a character. All violators will be prosecuted. With water guns. Moderator: Ruskin
Allegiances This contains history on each territory and who happens to be a part of each territory now. All information on your territory can be found here and will be modifyed by the territory leader or an admin. Moderator: Ruskin
Care to Say Something? This is where you can talk about anything. Books, RL, characters, you name it, you can post it. However, all mature threads need to have X's in their titles, to protect the innocence of younger members. Moderator: Ruskin

Plots Use your imagination here! All sorts of different plots can be made. It really doesn't matter what kind of plot, whether it be romance, murder, or some poor creature who acts like a clown and is bullied. Just make sure to say whether or not the plot is a large or small in the thread title. Moderator: Ruskin
Enter Stage Left This is where you post your completed form for your character. Please wait for your bio to be accepted before you start role-playing, or the admins will take revenge. With water guns. Moderator: Ruskin
Searching for Something? Need a mate for your character? Or perhaps an ally or an enemy? Post here with exactly what you want, and someone might answer your request. Moderator: Ruskin
Activity Check If you're active, then these shouldn't be a problem. Around once a month, an activity check will be held. An admin will send out a mass PM and email, so make sure you activate your account- you won't get the email unless you do. Moderator: Ruskin
Principessa's Court This is a sheltered grotto not far from the sea, which lies nearly mile away from here. A large cave, lined with crystals on the inside from old deposits of salts and minerals, awaits those who feel brave enough to consort with their enemies.
A few bones line the rocky interior, mostly fish and sea life, but also skeletons of creatures more familiar. On the wall in the very back of the cave, a mermaid's skeleton lies embedded in the rock, and her sightless eyes watch over visitors. Moderator: Ruskin

Jacopo's Meadow A large meadow filled with ridiculously long grasses tipped with red, Jacopo's Meadow is a place for talk, not fighting. However, once in a blue moon, a fight will break out here and the Meadow is an almost perfect place for a fight. A thick ring of oak and maple trees edge the meadow, and there is only one entrance- or exit.
Deer and rabbits graze peacefully here, which have never felt the presence of predators is a bad thing, though many have fallen to the talons or teeth of a predator. Moderator: Ruskin
Isola Fradicia True to its name, the camp the Corrientes call home is a medium size island in the middle of a large lake, surrounded by mists and surrounded by tall water weeds. The lake is perfectly clear, and the shores sparkle with glass-like rock and shells. Thick stands of willow trees create a natural barrier to the camp, and each one can shelter many creatures, since the trees have stood for nearly a a century. Moderator: Ruskin
Brisa del Lago This is the lake that surrounds the main camp. The lake is blanketed by a light mist in early mornings and evenings, and the sun reflects brightly from the water's surface. Small reedbeds had often made a sort of island, and a formation of rock pierces the surface, creating a small perch or resting place on the north side of the island.
Fish and lake creatures can be found here, and also boar and other wild animals can be found here for prey, especially while drinking from the lake shore. Moderator: Ruskin

The Winding Mirror This is a river, referred to as the Mirror, that leads away to from the lake and out to sea. The sea itself is only a few miles away, still within the Corrientes territory, and often filled with the Corrientes subjects. Objects from the Others, sunken ships, rotting wood, and rusting metal, litter the shoreline at the drop-off, which shelters a hidden reef.
Small silver fish dart among the Mirror, both river and sea. Larger prey, such as bluefin tuna, sea birds, and shark inhabit the sea. Moderator: Ruskin

Tierra de los Vientos
Campo de Vientos Much as its name says, the main area of the Vientos camp is a field, covered with tall, shoulder-height grasses and dappled by wildflowers. However, nettles, thistles, thorns, and brambles lie hidden like a snake in the grass, and only those born there or who have been there a long time can avoid them. Of course, most of the Vientos are winged. A few trees of unnatural height are scattered throughout, and a few bushes lie in the shade of the branches. Moderator: Ruskin

The Spire A tall natural tower of red sandstone, it peirces the sky with its summit. It is about four large oak trees around, similar to a small redwood tree, and is hollow inside, though only Vientos members know this. In times of need, refugees or escaping Vientos. Scrubby plants surround the Spire, and the summit is bare, except for a few treasures the Vientos keep hidden in a small cache there. Only those born in the Vientos have been able to summit.
Deer and pheasants roam here, as well as small rodents and game birds. Moderator: Ruskin

Debajo Hierba An cave of earth, found deep underground, the Debajo is supported by large boulders, and hidden by one. Only the strongest can move the boulder, and with that done, Vientos can be hidden or captives held here without anyone knowing, once the barrier is replaced. The grass hides the stone, which looks as ordinary as the rest, besides a large patch of mica that sits on the fore of the boulder.
Rodents and bats scamper in the cave, surrounded by crumbling walls around rock. Weasels and rabbits can sometimes be found here. Moderator: Ruskin
Caverna della Fiamma In the near middle area of the fire lands, a large cave was formed amid a meadow. Inside, small tunnels lead to smaller caverns, where the cold stone floor is softened by a padding of dirt and sand, and scattered with moss. The walls are covered in thick lichen and ivy, covering what lies underneath- a wealth of fire opals, if these creatures think that way. Moderator: Ruskin

Antorcha River Antorcha is the strangest river in all of Fuegos land. Its crystal water is topped by a crown of fire, eternally dancing on the surface, never dying. It is the same fire that killed Ambrose and Alessandravina, the parents of one of the greatest Fire Guardians, Comas.
The Fire Guardian lives here, mostly solitary, and feeds upon the fish that glide beneath the surface of the water. The Guardian cannot be harmed by the flames, but everyone else can. Moderator: Ruskin

Fire's Meadow The blackened soot from a long ago wildfire still lies sunken under the dirt, exposed by even the slightest digging. The meadow has a large stand of trees, mainly of pine and evergreen saplings, but these are dulled by the occaasional dogwood or tulip tree. The ground is open, with the grass short and kept by deer and other grazers.
Deer, elk, and moose often traverse through here, as well as voles, rabbits, and chaffinch. Moderator: Ruskin

Tierra de las Sombras
Foresta Scura Contrary to its name, the Sombras camp is not a forest. Its merely a large collection of trees, creating a thick and darkened area in the middle of a large field, where the ground lies dark and lifeless. The trees are of birch, oak, maple, willow, and dogwood, and create hardly what one would call a good entrance. Instead, the Sombras merely use a tunnel to get in and out, and can choose between two different exits/entrances. Their camp is covered with soft moss, a soft bedding for the ambitious creatures. Haunted Fields The Sombras territory includes the large area that surrounds their camp, a field swathed in shadows and sonewhat hidden by the sun by the thik misted smoke that somehow resides there. Willows with darkened leaves and monstrous sizes are scattered among the field, creating a shelter for those when it may rain.
A few deer may wander here, but it is unlikely. Rabbits and small game are found more here than larger game, and only skilled hunters may catch anything. Moderator: Ruskin
Trayectoria Oscura The Darkened Path. This well-worn trail leads around the perimeter of the Sombra borders, and is surrounded by a silent forest of evergreen and oak. The occasional creeping vine snakes up the trees or across the path. A small, bright, and clear creek runs beside the path, and at one point crosses underneath a natural bridge to the other side.
Small minnows and crawfish are found in the creek, while wolverines and elk triapse through the trees. Moderator: Ruskin
