Okay, there are a lot of different choices for this, so its a bit hard to figure out eactly what is allowed. So far these are the creatures that we will be allowing here on the site.
THE List
Weres
These can be of any creature, though werewolves are the most common. They do not often take a human form unless they are totally relaxed, and usually have their animal form as a norm. They have several times the strength of a normal human, though humans have not yet discovered this place, and it is unlikely they ever will. They are unlimited, though they may have to be limited if there grow to be too many of the same time, i.e., try to be more creative than a werewolf.
Centaurs**
Centaurs, half horse, half human, you all know that. I will not accept every centaur who comes along. Every centaur has a certain, dignity, persay, and all except the youngest are wise and whatnot. So I will not except wild colors, because that's ridiculous, and will only take realistic-ness. Got it? Good. Because they're also a limited character. You have to PM the admin, Ruskin, me, to have a centaur.
Winged Humans**
Okay. So they're humans, and they're winged. Much like angels, I guess, but only much more animalistic, since no humans have found any of the four lands. For example, you can have a human with crow wings, and the wings of course would br proportional to the human body. There really isn't a such thing as a fat winged human, not because I'm against people with a little more weight, but because unless you were slimmer, you would have a hell of a time getting off the ground. PM Ruskin for a winged human.
Winged Cats
My favorites. Winged cats are much like a mix between a cheetah and a greyhound, with a height difference being that they are about the size of horses, and wings proportionally sized. Almost all colors will be accepted, with exception of rainbow cats, which I do not approve of. Way too happy. So When you make your bio you can see exactly if your winged cat is up to par. It just so happens that a winged cat is in the banner. ^^ Mine. Don't touch.
Winged Wolves
Ah, winged wolves... Much larger than a regular wolf, they are either the size of a wolf or larger, though slimmer and much like werewolves, though 'prettier'. xD I'd let Night handle colors and whatnot, since they're her thing. Sometimes enemies of winged cats, other times not, especially in Vientos where their history included some of the winged cats haveing winged wolves for mates... But that hasn't happened in a long time. We'll see. ^^
Birds
Not like regular birds. Probably eagles, hawks, falcons, you get the point, with a little something extra. I'm not saying magical powers, since I don't really encourage those, but maybe, like, a songbird who can also be a kestrel, or something similar. You get the point. If you don't, ask, and then I will make you get the point. xD
Phoenixes
Said to live for 500 or 1461 years (depending on the source), the phoenix is a bird with beautiful gold and red plumage, though I don't care what color they are unless its stupid. At the end of its life-cycle the phoenix builds itself a nest of cinnamon (or other, I again, don't care) twigs that it then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix arises. The bird was also said to regenerate when hurt or wounded by a foe, thus being almost immortal and invincible — a symbol of fire and divinity. Tears from a phoenix can heal wounds.
Pegasi
Pegasus, an old friend. Everyone knows they're horses with wings, right? If not, now you know. I don't have a preference on colors or patterns, but again, if its something like rainbows it won't be accepted. End of story. They maay have to be a little more aggresive than normal, hint hint, they-herbivores-in-a-land-of-predators, but the predators won't eat the herbivores this time, merely... kill? xD Fierce pegasi. For good reasons, or not so good reasons.
Unicorn
Unicorns, another old friend. Same thing on colors. I won't repeat it one more time... Its a horse with a horn sprouting out of its forehead. The horn is often called an alicorn, or something similar. Please, no goody-two-shoes unicorns. They make me sad. I like them nice as well as any, but they are herbivores in a predator-dominant land... It wouldn't pay for the unicorns to be wiped out, would it?
Hippogriffs
Supposedly the offspring of a griffin and a mare, with wings, beak, and forelegs of a griffin and/or eagle, and the rest looks like a horse. I will not tolerate pink hippogriffs unless they are rose grey. only horse colors accepted with the wing patterns of a bird that would go with the color. I may make a few acceptions, but probably not many. A hippogriff is known as a symbol of impossibility and love. xD
Griffins
A griffin is a creature with the body of a lion and the wings, head, and forelegs of an eagle. They do have ears, though look more like a horse's then a lions. Think the Chronicles of Narnia. Those are my favorite kind. xD Normally suppsoed to have horses as prey, but I think they can settle for deer... We don't have horses on this site, though we do have Pegasi and unicorns, which the griffins SHALL NOT EAT.
Hippocampi**
I'd suggest looking for pictures, because I can't seem to find a decent definition. Typically has the upper body of a horse, such as the forelegs, chest, etc., up to the withers, where ti merges with the long or short tail, which also looks like a serpent or a sea horse's tail. I will accept almost all colors on this, and I'll let you handle all of the details for it. Please PM Ruskin for permission to have a hippocampus.
Mermaids**
These will not be like The Little Mermaid. Always interested in how they look, etc. ... I will not tolerate it! ^^ They will have about the same appearence, yes, and pretty much the same kind of clothes, but they will not be all VAIN and ridiculous! They are a kind of guardian of the sea, I suppose, so don't do anything stupid to the sea while you're around it... Or around the bones of one. Bad things can happen...Limited, so PM Ruskin for permission.
Dragons
Duh. End of story. Find a picture, make a bio.... Its a dragon. If you don't know what a dragon is you shouldn't be on a magical creatures site role-playing one.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or critiscism, then do say something through a PM to Ruskin or x~Night~x.
